Hi friend!
I am so excited that I've FINALLY come up with an email format that feels relevant to my brand AND achievable for my short attention span, so I'm popping into your inbox to share the first ever Lindsay Stitches POSTCARD!
My plan is to send you a weekly life update with a few photos and quick notes about what I've been up to - just like sending a postcard back home from my travels! If that's too much, please don't feel obliged to stick around (I think I'll be okay).

January has been appropriately filled with bike rides, swims, and arvo ginger beers. 2023 was a year of clashing work schedules for Josh and I so it's been really nice to actually spend time together again. It turns out that doing things we enjoy on weekends makes me way more productive during the week? Who knew!
My degree came in the mail(!!) which felt like a perfect start to 2024 (the year I actually properly attempt to be a full-time embroidery artist/✨business woman✨ - eek!)
One of my goals this year is to finish 100 embroidery pieces of weird and wonderful landmarks from towns and roads all across Australia. Last week I made a fun interactive map to share all of the place-related things I stitch, so you can easily browse my work by location! It's still in progress, but you can click here for a little sneak peek.
Currently stitching: Brunswick Picture House in NSW and Down The Rabbit Hole Wines in South Australia. I've got a lot of fun ideas for this project but I would also LOVE your input (here's your homework for the week) - start getting nostalgic about your past road trips because in postcard #2 I'll be asking you to submit your favourite Australian towns/landmarks for me to stitch!
Last but not least, we spotted our old car in the wild - TWICE! Josh and I bought this Patrol in Esperance in 2020 and did lots of driving around WA before selling it again in 2021. I was starting to think that I might never see it again so it was a real treat to see that it's alive and well, and living nearby!
Thanks for reading, let's chat next week!
